Three-year-olds are all about expression; it's the time when kids really start to form their own ideas about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our 3-year-old program, your child will explore science experiments, create artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their journey to the 4 - 5 year old program and beyond.

With a slightly more structured routine than previous years (Infant-Toddler), children build their pre-writing, pre-reading, and pre-math skills through art, crafts, music and movement, group time and learning centres. Fine motor skills and creativity also enhanced through manipulating, cutting, drawing, and painting. In addition, science and nature are incorporated through our outdoor classroom where children have opportunities to explore, observe, and appreciate nature.       

    

Independence is embraced as children become more self-reliant and are able to “do it themselves.” Your child will gain increasing independence with life skills such as cleaning up and taking care of their own belongings.

Problem solving, sharing, cooperation and decision-making are incorporated into the daily routine giving children life-long skills and habits. The 3-year-old Program builds the social, physical, and cognitive foundation necessary for the more academic years to follow.
